In addition to my recycled sari silk ribbon, here is a new option in silk chiffon!
The original is an opaque silk and this is a more delicate, slightly transparent version. Also made from recycled saris and from the same supplier it comes to be directly from India; I apply my own colour techniques using all-natural botanical dyes to produce a rainbow of lovely colour.
Each listing is for ten yards of ribbon.
Please note that this ribbon is knotted and sewn together as part of the process of turning whole saris into ribbon and may have some strays threads throughout (although they pull off very easily). In some places it may also show small signs of its previous life, through colour alterations. I do try to edit out any major flaws, however.
