This silk ribbon started out life as a sari, far away from my little studio in Oregon and I just love that I'm able to give it a new lease on life. It's beautiful to work with and I like to imagine the life it may have had before it came to me, where once it was another woman's dress, far across the world.
At just $1.50 per yard, it's also my least costly silk ribbon - that's because I don't press it, or wind it on a spool, so it's much less time-intensive to produce.
Each listing is for ten yards of ribbon.
Please note that this ribbon is knotted and sewn together and may have some strays threads throughout (although they pull off very easily. In some places it may also show small signs of its previous life, through colour alterations. I do try to edit out any major flaws, however.
The colours though, are just as beautiful as my other ribbons! Currently 11 colours are available and I'll be adding more very soon.
As always, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
