Wooden Spools, now available in the shop!

I started making my own spools when I began to market my ribbons and couldn't find spools that met my criteria: they needed to have a simple, modern look, be made of natural materials, be unfinished so that any stain wouldn't transfer to my ribbons and they needed to accommodate three standard ribbon sizes. Easy, right? Not so much.

In the end, as I often do when I can't find what I need out in the world, I figured out how to make them myself.

I began offering them on Etsy earlier this year and they've been quite the hit! I'm pleased to add them to my own shop here now in three sizes intended for 1", 2" and 4" ribbon, or for yarn.
